About
Queer Folx Book Club (QFBC) meets monthly in NYC or virtually to discuss books by, about, and/or for queer, trans, and non-binary people. Books and dates are decided on as a group at meetings for the next month.
QFBC welcomes all queer women, trans, GNC, and non-binary + folx!

QFBC started in October 2015 by a group of queer friends and has continued to grow and venture outside book discussions. Past meetings have included attending roller derby games, burlesque shows, coloring, visiting the Lesbian Herstory Archives, the DapperQ Fashion show, meeting with author Gabby Rivera (Juliet Takes a Breath), and lots of good food. Suggestions for activities are always welcome!

Artwork for QFBC was created by kd diamond and includes the Dewey decimal call numbers for the sexual orientation and gender identity topic. Images are also available as tattoos!
